Look what I found this morning! Lily, one of the first two lambs we brought to the farm, now has her own lamb. This one is a ewe lamb, and she is jet black. I thought the other baby was black but she is more like gray compared to this little girl. Who knew!?

Ang – I don’t mind the black, but I was very surprised about this one. The mom has a dark spot on her hip but the ram was a normal, light color so I didn’t see this coming. I guess I need to study genetics a little more. Joyce – They are great to watch, I caught this new one sprawled out on her side sound asleep, it makes my heart melt! š
